I grew up in the coastal community of Ventura County, California, where long summer days were spent riding bikes through strawberry fields and heading to the beach with friends. This early connection with nature sparked my love for the ocean and the environment, setting the foundation for my commitment to a healthy, sustainable lifestyle. My spiritual journey began by the sea and continues to guide my life and career.
After high school, I pursued my love for food and wellness at the University of California Berkeley, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition & Food Science, followed by a Master’s in Public Health. Along the way, I completed my dietetic internship and became a registered dietitian.
Over the years, my career has focused on hospital-based acute care, long-term care, and outpatient nutrition counseling. Through these experiences, I’ve seen how deeply nutrition impacts chronic disease and overall health. Now, I’m stepping away from acute care to focus on helping my clients stay healthy and avoid hospital visits, using a personalized, approachable style of nutrition counseling that’s all about collaboration, creativity, and care.
I was lucky enough to watch many yellow moons rise over the Pacific—something that still feels spiritual to me. The moon, with all its symbolism of intuition, cycles, and transformation, has always resonated deeply.
The yellow moon symbolizes peace, optimism, abundance, balance and prosperity. During a yellow moon make time to meditate and manifest your desires. It's a time to focus on yourself.
And then there’s my lifelong love of everything pineapples. They have long been a symbol of welcoming in my home.
So I blended the moon’s spiritual energy with my love of pineapples—and Pineapple Moon Nutrition Consulting was born. I hope you love the story behind the name as much as I do.
Here at Pineapple Moon Nutrition, we will focus on you.
